In reviewing any matter, the Ombudsman undertakes the consideration of both the client’s and the bank’s point of view, evaluates arguments from each of the parties and makes a decision in all fairness.

The Group’s Ombudsman will respond to you directly within two months of receipt of the written submissions of the parties relating to the claim.

A good example is “Cristal Solidarité”, a charity-linked investment solution designed by Societe Generale Private Banking.

Designed to meet growing demand for charity-linked solutions from our clients and staff, Cristal Solidarité is the first structured product by which a private bank donates to a charity for every subscription.

The donation, whose size depends on the total investment, is spread equally between a selection of charities and will finance some of their projects and initiatives.
