Acting for children: three new associations selected by the Fondation 29 Haussmann

Each year, the Fondation 29 Haussmann, created by Societe Generale Private Banking France under the aegis of the Fondation de France, selects new associations that will receive a donation and strategic support for a period of three years.Chosen for their development potential and the relevance of their impact on children, the three associative ‘start-ups’ selected in 2026 have tested their concept in the field and now wish to consolidate their growth.
Welcome to the new partners of the Fondation 29 Haussmann: Parenthèse Utile, Gravir pour Grandir, and Chantier Sonore!
Parenthèse Utile

Parenthèse Utile supports young people aged 16 to 25 (students at risk of dropping out, or young people without employment, education, or training…) in regaining confidence, discovering themselves, and building a chosen future. The association has developed transition programmes during the crucial period between leaving the school system and entering adult/professional life. These full-time programmes span 6 to 10 months and focus on professional integration, skills and empowerment development, and civic engagement.

Gravir pour Grandir

Gravir pour Grandir aims to break social determinism by exposing teenagers who have lost their bearings to the challenges of high-altitude mountaineering. The goal is to trigger a powerful confidence boost in those who struggle to envision their future, while also bridging contrasting worlds by pairing each young participant with a mentor from the corporate world.

Chantier Sonore

Chantier Sonore uses hands-on media practice to foster the social and civic empowerment of various audiences, especially young people. Among its initiatives, the journalist-in-residence programme—conducted in schools with students in need of re-engagement—allows participants to create media content from scratch (magazine, radio show, podcast, exhibition, etc.) and to develop both educational and psychosocial skills by learning differently.
