Thomas Levet plays his 500th tournament, a first for a French golfer
When Thomas Levet, winner of 2011 French Open, tees off this week at the 2013 Omega Dubaï Desert Classic he joins the highly select club of only 25 other European players - and the only French player - to have played in 500 golf tournaments.
As Thomas’s sponsor for the past four years, Societe Generale Private Banking warmly congratulates him on this achievement and wishes him the very best for his latest challenge.
In addition to this talented player, Societe Generale Private Banking partners three other high-level golfers, Jeev Milkha Singh, winner of the 2012 Scottish Open, Angel Cabrera, winner of the 2007 US Open and the 2009 Masters, and Christian Cévaër, winner of the 2009 European Open.
The bank’s support of these four players is part of Societe Generale group’s wider golf sponsorship, being the official partner of the French Golf Federation since 2001 and of the Evian Masters international women’s tournament since 2008.
