Societe Generale Private Banking Hambros creates a New Wealth Planning Team and appoints a New Senior Wealth Planner
Societe Generale Private Banking Hambros (SGPB Hambros) is restructuring its Wealth Planning team to further strengthen its UK and International services offering. The activities of the UK Financial Planning and the International Wealth Planning units are being combined to form a single Wealth Planning team, part of Societe Generale Private Banking’s Global Wealth Solutions centre of expertise.
This restructuring is a response to the developing requirements of high net worth clients, whose financial affairs and wealth planning needs are becoming increasingly international. SGPB Hambros’ clients will thus benefit from a single point of entry to the worldwide expertise of the private bank’s Global Wealth Solutions, which has 240 specialists in 14 jurisdictions who provide advice and solutions for clients’ wealth planning demands, accompanying them in the international structuring of their wealth.
Headed by Christine Ross, the new Wealth Planning team restructures SGPB Hambros’ financial planning offering by bringing together the UK Financial Planning, International Wealth Planning, Charities Administration & Philanthropy activities in one unit.
SGPB Hambros has also appointed a new Senior Wealth Planner to the expanded team to foster the private bank’s relationships with high net-worth clients. Jane Fowke joined the London-based team in March 2012 and is responsible for advising clients on all aspects of their wealth management requirements.
Jane Fowke is a Chartered Financial Planner. After an initial period in teaching, she moved into the financial services industry in 1998 and joined HSBC in 2001, becoming Associate Director in the Specialist Tax Group at HSBC Private Bank. In 2009, she joined Barclays Wealth, where she held the position of Vice President, Wealth Advisory before moving to Societe Generale Private Banking Hambros in March 2012. Jane Fowke has a Bachelor of Education Honours degree from Bedford College.
