Sophie Fournier joined Societe Generale Private Banking in January 2016, as a Global Equity Strategist.

Sophie began her career in 1996 as an Economist. From 1998 to 2004, she worked at CAI Cheuvreux at the equity trading desk. First as an Economist, then as an Equity Strategist.

She joined BNP Paribas Asset Management in late 2004 as an Economist/Strategist within the Investment Strategy team. She contributed to defining global economic and financial scenarios and asset allocation strategies for internal and external clients. Sophie was more particularly in charge of monitoring European economies and making recommendations on global equity markets and emerging debt. She later took a Senior Research Analyst position within MAS (Multi Asset Solutions) at BNP Paribas Investment Partners. In August 2013, Sophie joined THEAM as an Investment Specialist in charge of Equity Management for model-driven expertise.

Sophie holds a Research Master’s degree in Economics and Econometrics (Paris-I Sorbonne) and a Master in Economics from the University of Birmingham.
