Kim Ly joined Societe Generale Group in 1986 within the Internal Audit Department. He then moved to Asia in 1993, where he held several positions in Hong Kong ( Deputy General Manager of the SG Hong Kong Branch and Head of Equity Capital Market execution at SG securities Asia) and Japan (COO of SGSNP and Head of Cash Equity Brokerage). In 2002, he is appointed Head of RISQ/RCE where he worked on methods to quantify regulatory and economic capital for different risks. He joins FICC in 2006 within the Global Strategy Development team and is appointed COO of FICC/CMF in 2008. He later becomes Deputy COO of GLFI in 2009.
Kim joins Societe Generale Private Banking in 2012 as Chief of Staff and Head of Strategic Planning and Execution.
Kim Ly graduated from Polytechnique and Ecole des Mines de Paris.
